Nest Carpentry & Handiwork is owned and operated by Jesse Hutchins.

Jesse is a native Mainer. Woodworking and carpentry have long been a hobby for her. With family members always having been creative, crafty, and resourceful, this profession is more like a right of passage. Most of her skills are self taught and she takes pride in her ability to problem solve and put that Mainer-ingenuity to the test!

Jesse grew up in Sebago and often can be found working in the wood shop, paddle boarding, downhill and cross country skiing, riding her bike in Back Cove, skateboarding, and any other activity enjoyed outdoors!

She lives with her wife, Sara, and their dog Mia in Portland.
